Shannon is an OSJ Manager and Financial Advisor with Kinnect Advisors, where he oversees approximately 20 registered representatives across four branches. He holds the General Securities Principal (Series 24), the principal-level designation required for branch and supervisory oversight within a FINRA-registered firm.
Shannon's career in financial services spans over a decade, built on a foundation in business operations and client service developed during thirteen years co-managing a family real estate business in Baltimore City. That background informs a practical, process-oriented approach to both practice management and client relationships.
In his current role, Shannon's focus is on compliance oversight, advisor development, and the operational infrastructure that allows a financial practice to run well over the long term. He also works directly with a select group of clients, helping them build and maintain financial plans aligned with their goals.
Shannon holds insurance licenses across life, health, variable, property, and casualty lines in multiple states, giving him the range to address financial needs that extend well beyond investment management alone.
Outside the office, Shannon lives in Parkton, Maryland with his wife Mary and their two children. He enjoys cooking, home improvement projects, and following Baltimore sports — particularly the Ravens and Orioles. He has a keen interest in emerging technology and how it continues to reshape both the financial services landscape and the way we live.
