As a Financial Advisor at Kinnect Advisors, Edward’s focus is simple: helping his clients pursue their financial goals with a human touch. He helps families navigate financial decisions with minimal stress, believing that good communication and clear goals can make it easier to choose the right financial tools and strategies.
Edward received his bachelor's degree at Harvard and a Ph.D. in American history from the University of Rochester. His career path has combined education and entrepreneurship. In the late 1990s he founded a product identification and metal fabrication company that became a top global exporter for several US companies, followed by a multi-year engagement with a leading international market research company and six years as executive director of a Washington-based NGO dedicated to improving public understanding of federal agency performance.
Since 2014, he has worked in the financial services sector with a primary focus on comprehensive financial planning. Prior to joining our firm in 2022, he worked for seven years at New York Life. He holds his Series 7 (General Securities Representative Examination) and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law Examination). He received his Maryland Life and Health Insurance license in 2014, and is licensed in Maryland, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and several other states. In addition to managing a team of advisors, Edward helps professionals joining Kinnect build comprehensive financial planning skills.
Married with two grown children, Edward volunteers for local parks and environmental causes He is an active member of his church in Potomac, MD.
